Tell us something about WONE

WONE is a digital performance agency based in Dubai operating globally. We have created WONE 2 years back. With the ambition to give the best value proposal for Small, Medium and Large businesses. Who are looking for relevant alternatives to big traditional agencies. Businesses that are often looking for high-quality standards with decent pricing models would not easily find a good fit in the GCC.

How did you find us, and any feedback you want to give cofounder.ae?

Curiosity and networking brought us to cofounder.ae.

Telling the story behind inspiring businesses is something one must do, glad that you are taking care of this. Successes and failure of entrepreneurs initiate a learning curve that should be communicated in order to inspire other founders. It also helps draw expectations. My main wish for you is to keep doing what you are doing by allowing this connection to happen between.

How did you get the idea to start WONe? Who did you start it with?

The idea of starting WONE came from an observation that I have made during my past digital career that goes back to the digital media landscape here in the region.

The fact that the big agencies own the space giving limited options to SMEs made us realize the huge missed opportunity.

We understood that filling this gap will help businesses get the level of expertise they need at a pricing model that is much more relevant to them. I have started this adventure with my partner (and husband) Nadir Boulila, a self-made entrepreneur with a great career in tele communication back in France.

Aida, CEO of WONE has great knowledge in the digital field, how do you leverage this knowledge in your day-to-day functions?

Knowledge is the most precious asset in what we do. The ability of each one of us to turn this knowledge into something tangible and actionable is probably what makes the difference.

I wouldn’t have initiated this project without the level of expertise and experience I’ve gathered during these years. Increasing this level is crucial to maintain our added value in the market especially that our field keeps evolving every day with new betas and innovations across different platforms and solution providers.

Aida Sahraoui

Aida Sahraoui is the Founder and CEO of WONE, a global digital performance marketing consultancy firm with strong roots in the GCC. After finishing a baccalaureate in science and business in Algiers, Algeria, she pursued a master’s degree in international business in France.

About Aida :

With a focus on SMEs, she learned the critical role they play in a healthy market economy. On completion of several marketing internships, she transformed her passion into her profession by joining one of the best digital performance marketing agencies in Paris.

With a new global outlook, she then moved to the United Arab Emirates to further progress her career. After some years in Dubai, Aida progressed in her career to Digital Director at Keyade, Group M, WPP.

Several years later, in conjunction with her business partner, she launched WONe. The company’s aim is, to deliver above and beyond digital performance marketing services at affordable rates to small to large enterprises.

Prioritizing transparency and added-value, qualities that tend to get overlooked with large agencies, she is on a mission to make a deep impact in the GCC market. Thus Aida sees herself as a guardian bringing WONE’s three pillars: its team, clients, and partners together for strong and winning outcomes.

Through WONE Aida’s goal is to deliver beyond the scope of work to solve any strategic, technical and operational digital problems they may have. Or simply just guide them in the right direction.

She and her team thus share this enthusiasm by accompanying clients to harness these new technologies for impactful results and to take a long term view.

Overall, Aida’s mantra is ‘data is the best judge in what we do’ Uber determined to make the digital world a better place. Aida partnered WONE with Astrolabs to deliver digital marketing courses across the GCC.Helping professionals and students achieve their goals.

When Aida isn’t helping her clients and students conquer the digital stratosphere, she enjoys travelling, reading, exercising and meditating.

What services do you provide at WONE?

We provide data-driven performance Digital Marketing services focused on efficiency and data. In our case, efficiency happens when the right formula comes together. The greatest components of this formula are Content, Data Automation, and Optimization.

We provide our clients with services such as Google Ads (Search and Display), Social Media Ads. And Social Media Organic strategies, Website UX/UI audits. And Digital Content (production and adaptation), SEA/SEO/Social Media audits, Customer behavior analyses, Coaching, and training.

With the main purpose of driving qualified traffic to our clients’ websites in order to help them increase their visibility. And consequently scale their online revenues while focusing on ROI.

How vital do you think is a digital agency for a business?

In this digital era, every business needs to communicate with its online audience. Whether through Search engines or Social Media channels, across paid or organic campaigns.

Some businesses however, need it more than other. I truly believe that a highly skilled digital agency working hand-in-hand with the client is a must for any business that is starting its digital transformation journey.

This also applies to any business that does not have the properly trained internal resources. Along with the ones that do not have the capabilities to in-house their team.

Who is your favorite client? 😉

Tricky question ☺ let me describe the ideal client instead 😀

Our ideal client, regardless of the industry, is the one with a strategic vision. We often see that clients with clear expectations who have the means of their ambitions are easy to work with and scale.

Clients should also understand the value of digital performance marketing. And understand that we are the experts and that they need to trust us. We are very transparent in the way we work, thus, we expect our clients to be the same.

What is the most important challenge you have been facing with WONE?

The biggest challenge we have been facing since the beginning is to change the perception clients. And potential clients have of agencies given the past experience they had.

Digital is a booming field and many players out there claim to master the most elementary techniques when they don’t, businesses trust them then get deceived. By that time, a lot of energy and resources have already been wasted.

To prevent this, we create a lot of awareness around the key criteria to take into consideration while choosing your next digital partner.

What is the main advice you give to businesses out there?

My main advice to any business that is currently working with an agency is to be picky and aware. Picky with the level of details your agency provides and aware of how transparent they are. Transparency here includes Strategy, methodology, team expertise, pricing, and reporting

There are great agencies out there that are professional and transparent, you just need to find your best fit.
