What is Carcility all about? How did you think of this name?
Carcility is an online platform where car owners can find car service providers in their vicinity. It is a one-stop solution for choosing the right service for your car from a plethora of options with quotes.
From car repair services to car detailing and car wash, we can connect you to trusted vendors within a few clicks. The name is derived from the Car and Facility leading to Carcility.
Tell us about the founders of Carcility. And how important is a good team for a company?
Anirudh Menon Vallikkat is one of the Co-founders of Carcility and also a Software Engineer responsible for the entire technical aspects and operation of the company. Anil Kumar OT, an insurance expert is the Co-founder and director of the company.

Carcility looks quite impressive, with services from a simple car wash to complex roadside assistance too. How do you guys manage to do that?
Dubai is a faced paced city where people love their cars. As an online platform, we have accomplished to create a good partnership with various quality service providers on board. This trust and partnership have helped us a long way.
Do you work 24/7? How do you accomplish everything, right from getting a request to executing the task?
No, currently we provide service from 8 am to 7 pm, but will soon be providing services throughout the day. We have a great team that strives hard to help our customers based on their requirements.
Right from raising the request until the service is done, we are actively involved in the process to deliver the best quality car service to our users.
What makes Carcility different from all the other service providers in the UAE?
Unlike other platforms, we provide multiple quotes from the workshop for the customer to choose according to his/her comfort while others send the customer to a specified or chosen workshop.
Carcility’s purpose isn’t to provide a directory of every auto service provider in the UAE.
Our aim is to ensure that our customers receive the best service available, and that’s why we only enlist providers that pass our quality checks.
The vendors that work with you, how do you check their authenticity?
We inspect the workshops, check all facilities available before onboarding and enlisting on the platform.
Carcility also has a blog section , it’s a great idea. How did you think of it?
Even though the UAE is famous for its cars, most of the consumers here are not aware of what’s good or bad for their cars. Rearview – A carcility blog was introduced to increase awareness.
Your social media is also doing a pretty decent job, catching up with the ongoing trends, ( eg: reverse the faceapp challenge ) Do you feel keeping up with the viral ongoing trends is a good marketing strategy and gain some customers maybe?
Yes, it’s very important to keep up with the current trend around you and attract more customers.
How has the market been receiving you till now? And where do you see yourself in 5 years?
We have received a great response from the market with our users growing each month. Over the next five years, we aim to be the leading online car service aggregator in the UAE and also expand our operation into a few GCC Countries.
Mobil 1 partnership is a milestone for a startup. Tell us something about it, how did it happen?
As we all know, Mobil 1 is the world’s leading synthetic engine oil manufacturer trusted by experts and racing cars around the world.
It couldn’t get any better with company of such stature is partnered with us.
While we are enthusiastic about partnering with major brands and contacted Mobil, they found Carcility in line with their thoughts and from other brands chose to partner with us.
Any advice you want to give to budding entrepreneurs?
